Hill’s RVs began
in 1985 as sort of a “hobby” for Barry Hill and
his wife Ellanore. At a semi-retirement point in
their life, after spending many years in the
grocery business they both enjoyed traveling and
the RV lifestyle. They thought it was something
others must enjoy too. At that point an idea was
born, they could open a motor home dealership,
they could sell fun! They built a small building
adjacent to the outlet shopping center that they
owned at the time and began selling Winnebago
motor homes and Corsair travel trailers. Their
son, Craig, found his place in the service
department. Over the years the RV industry
flourished, and Hill’s RVs became more than just
a hobby for the Hill Family. In 2005, Barry had
the opportunity to purchase property on Route
302 between North Conway and Center Conway. He
considered it an ideal location for a new RV
dealership. He took great pride in designing and
overseeing construction of the new building, and
was proud as ever to see its doors open in June
of 2006. Barry passed away in late 2007, much
too soon, however, he has left his mark with the
new RV dealership, that is now operated by Craig
and his wife, Sharon. We love our new location
and wonder how we ever worked out of the other
building for all those years, although, it did
serve its purpose at the time. |
We are still
that small family owned and operated place, where you might
just feel like part of the family when you walk in the door,
without any of the high pressure sales pitches that you may
find in other places. We honestly believe that signing on
with Winnebago Industries all those years ago, was probably
one of the single most important decisions and keys to our
success over the years. When you work with a quality company
that manufactures quality products, it makes everyone’s job
a little bit easier. Having had the opportunity to sell
other brands and work with other manufacturers, made us
realize that we should stick with the best. For many years
now, we have been an exclusive Winnebago dealer. If you want
